Toerek Law Is Seeking a Virtual Executive Assistant

We are a marketing and intellectual property-focused law firm that is on track for aggressive growth and we need an experienced Virtual Executive Assistant to join our team and work directly with the owner and other team members to support and help our clients.
We want to be known for helping our marketing agency clients achieve peace of mind and legally protect themselves in all business situations. We are growing fast, and we need a virtual rockstar who can hit the ground running.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an Independent Contractor opportunity, not a job, and benefits (health insurance, dental insurance, vacation time, 401k options, etc.) are NOT included as part of the engagement.
This engagement includes responsibility for important work, including:
- Interacting with clients and building relationships with them by phone and email
- Scheduling client calls and meetings
- Returning all client calls and voicemails when received
- Assuring that the Owner’s calendar is accurately maintained and organized in a logical and efficient manner
- Maintaining documents and client records using the Firm’s document management system
- Support, as needed, of client billing
- Providing marketing support as necessary, including handling release of the monthly newsletter
- Carrying out miscellaneous administrative tasks as necessary for the Firm

- You love helping others solve problems
- You are forward thinking and can anticipate what’s coming around the corner
- You have prior administrative and virtual work experience
- You are fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in or adaptable to learning additional programs such as our Firm’s closed calendaring and email marketing systems
The engagement for this work will be for 10 hours per week, with flexibility and autonomy related to scheduling and location of work (the engagement is entirely virtual), but there are opportunities for an increase of hours for the right individual. As an independent contractor, you will use your own computer equipment and internet and telephone access to perform your work for the Firm.
