About Destiny Carlos Edwards

Destiny advises marketing, advertising, and communications agencies on legal issues that impact their creative work, client relationships, and regulatory compliance.

She began her legal career with a self-regulatory organization, where she monitored advertising practices for compliance with FTC standards. She later served as Associate Counsel at a multinational advertising agency, working directly with creative and marketing teams to navigate legal risk in fast-moving campaign environments.

Prior to joining Toerek Law, Destiny practiced as an Associate Attorney at a boutique intellectual property law firm, advising clients on contracts, trademarks, and copyright matters.

Destiny holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University, a Master of Science in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, and a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law. Her background gives her a practical, business-minded approach to legal counseling that aligns closely with the realities agencies face every day.
